While our focus was of course scotch tasting, there were many additional parts of the trip including visiting historic sites, geography and cultural lessons, and plenty of amusing anecdotes. Each of the distilleries is unique and requires no additional explanations. Das Bowmore House ist eine super Unterkunft mit einem coolen und lustigen Inhaber der viele Geschichten rund um Islay und Whisky erzählen kann. In den Destillerien gibt es einiges zu sehen und zu erleben und natürlich auch einige Whisky zum probieren. Die Insel ansich ist einfach atemberaubende schön. Nun zu den kleinen Kritikpunkten.
